Welp, it's officially summer according to me. The A/C is clicked on,
I'm sipping on a Corona *hey, it's summer beer*, the cat's in the window, I'm wearing shorts and sunglasses.

All the hotties girls currently in higher ed are moseying up and down the road in at little as legally allowable.

Later today I'm headed to a cookout.

Here's a :toast: to all my fellow New Englanders who slogged through that hellacious winter with me!

B-)

'girls' is better than 'hotties'?

OK, marginally, maybe. :)

Still... you get one of these! :spank:

It's a balmy 20 degrees here with snow still on the ground.

Why the hell did I ever move here?

Corona is delicious.

18. I agree
Anyone who has to go through a cold winter deserves to sip Corona on a hot day. Especially on a porch, feet kicked up, bottles in a bucket of ice. So nice.

In fact, I ran out and got some earlier partly because my photo portfolio has some nifty pics of Corona.

If you go here and click on Photography you'll find 2 pics

24. Coors Light isn't better than Miller-Lite
If I were on fire in the desert, I doubt I'd crack open a can of Coors Light to douse myself for fear of some of it accidently touching my lips. However, I would crack open a can, after vigorously shaking it, and douse your roommates with it. If I were you, which I'm not, but it's a suggestion.

36. Step under my wing for a moment, young roommate warfare padawan..
Rule number one. If you're sleeping in the bottom bunk, ex-lax is NEVER an option. Think about it.

Now, while they are both making a scene, you could say, accidently lightly smear some cayenne-impregnated vaseline or other such invisible cream on the insides of their undies. The ensuing "You just gave me an STD, I'm burning my balls off here / Fuck you, you just gave ME something" war should be entertaining.

17. It must be summer.
Even though it's a mite chilly today. My kids are outside with ice cream cones and one of the neighbors just fired up the lawn mower.

I have a feeling, though, that in my neck of the woods we're going to go from chilly spring to blazing hot summer without a string of nicer days in between. This spring has been awfully windy.

20. We're headed for doom and gloom tomorrow, don't worry
Back to under 50 and raining, but I'm equally okay with that, just so long as it's not snowing. In fact my still thick-from-this-nightmare blood isn't adapting to the heat that quick, so a cooling off day is nice. Plus it makes all the sprouty planty stuff grow nice and quick, which is always a nice thing to see after say... this

It wasn't too long ago you were bitching about all the snow on the ground and now you've got the AC on??????

We haven't turned it on HERE yet. :wtf:

And we're going to put it off as long as possible. We never get past mid-May, though.

But you've got AC on in Massachussu Massacheuse (no that's the French spelling) Massachusse (no too many s's) WHEREVER you are in the far northeast????

On edit: looking forward to summer is not allowed here. It's a sure sign that you are insane.

Now I'm all depressed thinking about summer. (Please understand spring lasts about two weeks here.)

:-(

Hey did you know, can't remember where I read it but, people in the south actually get SAD (Seasonal Something Depression) in the SUMMER instead of in the winter? Yeah, because you avoid the sun in some parts of the country and the really really hot stuff lasts a LONG ass time (think of your winters) and you tend to stay inside a lot. So you get very little exposure to sunshine and people get depressed.

Ironic, eh?
