Today's my birthday
Would appreciate any thoughts, suggestions, etc. that folks have on what my wife and I should do tonight. We're in ATL, have a babysitter and were thinking about a good dinner somewhere, but your input would be appreciated - the older I get, the more mundane these days seem to be.

6. I second that idea
Since I'm not familiar with Atlanta's restaurants, you probably can't go wrong with a Japanese restaurant, preferrably one with a teppan bar like Benihana, for example.

And Happy Birthday to you!

If you like meat, you can pay $50 or so per person, and you have never done this.
