I just came across a late-night croquet game...

I just took Tucker out for a walk. The nice kid in the cottage across the street and down the street is having a party. He has a big fire pit and the kids are all playing croquet. Tucker, of course, thought it was great fun.

The funny part is that Ian wasn't even there - they said he went to the liquor store. So we hung out with all these college kids and Tucker got tons of loving. And I was barefoot wearing jammie-pants.

I love my town.

you're going to have to be in bed by eight so that you can go out and collect chicken eggs by 6AM. You're going to have to be satisfied with rural life--city life is too corrupting, ya hear? No more of those big-town late nights for you! :D

A friend and I used to play it cross-country, with the wickets really far apart. It was a blast.
