My and my current girlfriend ran into my ex this afternoon

Last Sunday she made a bs claim I assualted her which I did not get charged for it. Today when me and my girlfriend had gotten off the bus I see her standing right there behind the bus stop. Lets say it was VERY ackward, she was following directly to the side of us, into the store and out. She then started to spout out some more bs like I was "using, taking advantage of her, etc" My g/f asked me to go into the house, she'll be over there she wanted to talk to her. I said ok but I atleast got a cigarette from her. As I'm waiting I go back there to see what's going on and she was walking back towards me with that everythings fine look. I was really nervous because I know she was going to tell her kinds of things to make her not want to be with me but she is so much smarter then that. She came into my house and said 'you gotta do something, it's up to you but the police thing might be a good idea' I didn't hesitate. As I was waiting, I hear her knocking and yelling out her name incorrectly, she talked to her shortly before the police arrived. They asked me what was going on and I told them I just wanted her to leave me alone, I wasn't trying to have myself or her in this situation. They ended up hauling her ass to jail because of a warrant for violating her probation. But she was so cool about it, she was telling that my ex told her that she was trying to look out for her and I was just going to 'lie, cheat, and hit her' and the whole time she was wondering if she was even talking about the same guy. From her words she says I treat her good which I try. Another thing she tried to say I was supposed to meet up with her after work and she was telling my girlfriend this, she said she was thinking, 'Wait, why is he going to tell her to met up with him when he is talking me over to his place. I know he ain't retarded' We laughed it off and we had fun for the 1 hour of time we got to spend together but I'm so glad this one, she really does mean alot to me especially after today.

She sounds like she is nothing but trouble . She needs a life of her own . All you did was care for her and she does nothing but give you trouble . Especially since now you are involved with someone else , this is going to make her even more crazier .

I don't know your deal ... you take things way too seriously and out of context . No I don't know Champ . Since it seems like I have to explain my point . oh goody -> What I mean is " all he did was care for her and she is making his life a living hell even though they are not together anymore . 7. I think I brung it up before

Things with my ex, I did care for her you don't have to take my word for it. But after awhile I was done and actually stopped caring but not after several attempts to 'work things out', there was nothing I could do now I find someone is everything my ex isn't and actually tries to make me happy(When honestly if I make her happy, I'm happy). She tells me all the time 'I want to make you happy'. But I don't really care about that, all I care about is what I had is with her is done so I can move on with my life and try to make the best of what I have w/ my current SO.
