ABC's "Desperate Housewives" was the most-watched program of the week, drawing 25.6 million viewers and an 11.1 rating/26 share among networks' most prized audience, adults aged 18 to 49. That was strong enough to top Fox's double shot of the hit talent show "American Idol" on Tuesday (24.5 million, 10.0/29) and Wednesday (24.1 million, 10.2/25).
