XP is driving me to drink.
Well maybe not a drive, but damn sure a short putt.

I had a electrical bump a couple weeks back. Now it will not let me change font colors insist upon blue, not black. It also has lost its auto fill function, plus lord knows what else. It has been reloaded from the hard drive, however that did no earthly good. Should I reload from a disk. I purchased XP prior to buying the new computer, so I have copy that has not been loaded. Anyone have an ID about this before I am forced to deal with the situation by getting loaded myself?

1. No suggestions.
But a reminder that the sun is not over the yardarm for another 65 minutes.

:eyes: Don't ya just love that helpful advice?

Try running a System Restore from your original point of installation, consult your Windows Help (in the start menu) for specific steps.

4. Sounds Like Corruption Of The OS
Have you tried loading the XP CD that came with the computer and trying to repair the OS? Failing that, you may want to do a reload and reformat from the new XP CD.

15. He's pulling your leg.
Seriously, if the problem persists after you've completely reloaded your OS (and all the other progs you use, real pain in the butt), you may not have a software problem at all.

11. or possibly the strunch alignment.
If that's not it, the next thing I'd check is the Johnson bar.
If the cursor is inverted it's a sure sign of overfripulation of the Johnson bar.

7. Mandrake Linux 9.2 Discovery or PowerPack editions would make U happy!
And, best of all, they don't require you to buy new, expensive hardware!

14. Try Linux...
If you don't play any games...go straight to Linux. Do not pass Go and do not look back. ;)
