6. Tuna please

When I was in the air force, I was en route to Guam and the plane kept breaking down(#@!%^&* C-141) so we hadn't eaten for almost 40 hours when we finally got to Hawaii. Somebody brought a bunch of box lunches on board before we departed and my box had a tuna sandwich in it. To this day, nothing tastes better to me than a tuna sandwich and a cup of coffee.....

7. Veggie sandwich

forget the sprouts, add sliced lettuce on toasted 9 grain bread and add a dab of low fat thousand island dressing. Veggies I Iike on my sandwich, carrots, tomatoes, onions, cucumber, avacado and lettuce with a dab of low fat thousand island dressing.

11. I feel the same way about Roberto's Beef Burritos

About a decade ago, my girlfriend and I hadn't eaten in, no exaggeration, a week or maybe ten days. A couple who were practically strangers came over and brought us a joint, ten bucks, and a beef burrito from Roberto's Taco Shop.

I haven't smoked pot in years, and there is more than ten dollars in my bank account, but I have forgotten neither their kindeness nor the burrito. My kid (now 8) still wonders at my fascination with both Roberto's and their beef burritos.
