Poll question: Favorite Jack Webb produced and directed show

I just read a book on Webb called, "My Name is Friday" and when actors would come on his set knowing their lines, he would tell them not to do that again because he liked to have all of his actors read off a teleprompter because he felt it made them more natural. Hmm.

3. Most of you are probably too young to remember Dragnet.

It was my favorite! The only role that came close to Sgt. Friday was Dirty Harry, and he wasn't on a TV series.

4. I loved Dragnet

I watched it on TV Land and only the color "Dragnet" from 1967-1970, not the B/W version from the 50's. I hear the 60's "Dragnet" was more campy while the b/w version was more hard boiled.
