1. I used to do that all the time when I was a teenager
I always looked at it like "Hey, food's food"

2. Is it...
cold, mixed together with the sauce, and placed on white bread as a sandwich? That's my favorite way to have cold spaghetti.

i never thought my mom would make up stuff like that.

I haven't met anyone crush worthy in ages.

Moms lie. All of them. 'The sleep you get before midnight counts twice as much as the sleep you get afterward.' Whatever, mom.

a few friends had pieces in it. it was a huge crowd. good party.
uggggh. i have a crush on a sculptor. bad idea.
this is a bad because the other crush is poof, gone after a year and a half of crushing. zip, nothing, he officially blew it. if i can't have two crushes going in the spring, i'm in big trouble. my friend tried to set me up with this guy years ago, and i wouldn't allow it. duh.

not counting someone i dated for nine months. somehow, i missed the crush stage on with that one.
and the last one lasted over a year and a half. but it's over. and i really thought i was going to see him last night at the party, i was excited about that. and look what happened.

you know. i decided at some point if he doesn't have the guts, nothing was going to happen. he knew about the show last night, and could pretty much have been certain i'd be there. he might have showed up and things would be different. damned timing is everything.

41. i find that hard to believe...... i have always been highly resistant to
having crushes. i'm just having a little cluster. and actually, the crush that lasted 1 1/2 years is gone as of last night. it was wearing me out, anyway. he still had me on a pedestal of sorts. it was feeling a little lonely up there. i'm not made of glass. sheesh.

and i'm not of the mind where i'm thinking of things i won't do. i know there's a list in the back of my head somewhere. but i can't find it at the moment.
this was one of those across a crowded room things. he was on his way out, i had just arrived. i was sort of hit in the gut when the brief introduction took place. i'm still a little stunned.

33. So, how'd that go?
The Swiss culture varies a lot by region. So we sort of have four distinct cultures here: French, Swiss-German, Romanche, and our Italian part.

What was your Swiss roommate like?

9. That's the only time I didn't tip at a restaurant
I asked at Denny's if spaghetti was available that early. The waitress said it was, 24 hours. But when she delivered it she mocked me with an "enjoy your BREAKFAST." Then she went around the corner and told a co-worker she couldn't believe she just served spaghetti at 8 AM. I heard it, and was proud to stiff her.

17. You should have been proud for brightening her day

and giving her something different to talk about. That kinda job can't have a lot of variety and stimulation in it.

I think stiffing her may have been a little rough for overhearing a comment to a coworker.

I couldn't enjoy them fully though. My realtor called. He was looking at an investiment property two doors down. So, I wolfed down my lunch and went to see it. (It's a DUMP!)

The herbs in some of my sauces do actually get better in the fridge overnight, and they aren't exactly bad to start with.
