Why do the networks show infomecials in the middle of the day on weekends?
It really flabbergasts me how the major networks are showing informercials for bizarre products and get rich quick schemes. Are they that desperate to fill air between morning cartoons (Sat.)/Sunday morning shows and Football? It's fine for people like me with cable, who have many choices, but what about the working man who does not have cable?

2. People were turning off their tvs so they had to block-rent airtime
just to cover costs
