Strip me Naked and Force me to
drink draft beer in Jackson Square Friday Afternoon. I'm just getting a little pumped up about the French Quarter Fest this weekend. You don't want to see me naked but I guarantee you, I'm gonna have a great time.

2. French Quarter...
Fest?? Tell me more about it--raunchier than So. Decadence and Mardi Gras? Is it always held around this time of the year? Does it get very crowded?

3. The Fest is not
raunchy or decadent (however I do love Mardi Gras and Southern Decadence). It involves live music on Bourbon and Royal Streets and along the River Walk. There are food vendors from local restaurants (you can imagine the cuisine, Shrimp Pasta, crawfish etoufee, gator burgers, seagood gumbo and on and on and on) all around Jackson Square and Woldenburg Park. Its not the logistical madness that the Jazz Fest can be. Its alway in early April, two weeks before the first week of Jazzfest. And, of course, they always have an incredible t-shirt. Its more of a local thing than Jazzfest. An incredibly good time is had by all. Crowds are not nearly as big as Mardi Gras and they are spread out throughout the quarter and riverwalk; however the crowds are big. Come on down.
