Surgery Goes O.K. for DUer

My hernia operation performed by Dr. Sheldon Randall at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford Mass. was a complete success. Last evening I was so worried because it was my first major surgery.

On Edit: Dr. Randall is a Democrat. He was born 1952, as I was, and we both voted the first time, in 1972, for George McGovern.

Last night so many of my fellow DUers gave me so much support that I slept like a baby, and this morning everything went just fine.

While i have your attention, my campaign for local office has been getting a nice reception. I'll be on local cable Thursday Night (already taped) for a half hour.

A little update was printed in this week's paper. The story is under the heading Louis Ciarlone (louis c is DU moniker)

Is that the hospital that's right up the street from Middlesex Fells? (I know that's off-topic, but if it is, I used to drive by there a couple of times a week when I'd go hiking or mountain biking in the Fells).

that's the hospital off the Fellsway.

The TV show can only be seen in revere on our local cable (channel 8).

That's OK with me, since the only people who can vote for me must come from Revere.

I'll be home for about 3 or 4 days, then I have to take it easy for a couple of weeks, then, I hope, I'll be back to normal. (If I ever was normal?)

when someone is opening you up, it's nice to know that he (or she) is smart enough to be against bush.

and that he (or she), can put greed aside.

I figure anyone who thinks Bush is OK is either stupid or greedy or both. In any case, my MD is neither.
