You guys will be proud..
8 drinks tonight, and I'm slightly buzzed. Not bad for a 19 yo girl, huh? Let's see, wine, beer, two shots, two mixed drinks, a Smirnoff Black and a daquiri. It's my roomate's birthday and we're partying.

1. congratulations....

I hope it was spread out over time and you had something to eat. I remember being 19 (barely) and being "proud" of my capacity. I later learned it's nothing to be proud of.

Take two aspirin, drink two big glasses of water and go to bed, and I hope you feel well in the morning. :)

on edit: wine, beer, daquiris etc? UGH! Brush your teeth after you puke.

2. I ate
and I'm not drunk. I doubt if I'll vomit, and I'll be in class, tomorrow morning at 9 :)

3. cool....
then I'm glad you had a good time.

I suspect you may be a little fuzzy during class, though :)

Sorry to come off like your dad, but I learned after a lot of pain that one's capacity to drink shouldn't be a point of pride. That being said, PARTY ON!

4. I'm not proud if you were driving, or if one of your toasted friends was..

Hope you were on foot or had a designated driver. Especially as you're underage.

Enjoy it while you can. You'll reach a point in the not-too-distant future where what you ingested tonight will leave you feeling sick for three days.

Don't mean to be the "turd in the punchbowl" and bag on your good time.

Now "dad" says go to bed! :)

6. It's no problem when you're young
wait 'till you hit 30, 8 drinks and I'm stumbling all over the place ;)

Means it's cheaper to get plastered that when I was younger though so that's cool

:toast:
