Well, we've managed to get a horse and a goat into bed; let's see if they can manage to produce an offspring before one or the other gets fed up with the whole weird scene.

10. I kind of miss ol' Stock
You could count on him to do or say something really crazy on a regular basis. "Sure, Mr Day, it would be a great idea for you to show up for your first press conference wearing a wetsuit and riding on a jet-ski."

Harper is nauseatingly boring, and I don't think McKay is much better.

11. Oh yes the "I wanna be Trudeau" Stunt.
But all kidding aside, after awhile Stockwell was so pathetic that I couldn't bear to watch him.

14. They're both policy wonks
So they got together and made a nice policy decision.

Nobody checked with the grass roots of either party.

This is gonna be so much fun!

3. The CA party
and the PC party leaders have signed a deal to merge.

The members of both political parties aren't as sure about the bargain.

Both are in the basement in the polls.

5. It's big big news here in Calgary.
It's going to be fun to see what a royally pissed-off David Orchard is going to do. I think we'll wind up with two parties still, but two different ones.

13. Looks like the PCs done forgot what that "P" stands for!
Anybody who'd want to get in bed with the C*R*A*P*s (I'm never going to call them the just plain "Alliance" after they so aptly named themselves the other) doesn't deserve to be called a "Progressive Conservative." Maybe they should change the name of the party to "REgressive Conservatives."

Then again, it's not going to matter a fart in a windstorm come the next Federal election anyway. I wonder if they'll actually manage to have official party status this time around or not.

16. But that's the first plank in the platform
The new party is to be "progressive socially". I just wonder what the Reform/Alliance/Freeper-types have to say about that.

17. Like those PC neo-con wannabees were PROGRESSIVES.
They sure tried like HELL to make Ontario the 51st state. NICE that they failed so miserably, but sad that it took so long to figure out the scam.

19. Well, the CA isn't exactly "The religious right"
They're nothing like they have in the states.
