MORAN spring cleaning : Free Chair!
I'm sorry I didn't take this photo yesterday; there was no mud on the thing then.

And YES, this is an actual chair being given away by someone with more Spray Paint than brains.

1. LOL!
In our neighborhood if you set something out at the curb it's usually gone in about 5 minutes no matter what condition it's in.

3. I think that's quite possibly intentionally mean and nasty.
My first thought was that they didn't want whomever got it to have something so nice for free, so they decided to mess it up a little before anyone picked it up.

4. Are you sure they were giving the chair away? Maybe there was
a box of free stuff on the chair and the chair was just the stand? Maybe the were THAT stupid and not stupid in the other way.

5. That's a good thought, fob.
I think I'll tell myself that's what happened.

(still pissed about the chair, tho; it has this funky curve to the arms I really liked.)

6. Are you sure it's not an installation
by a conceptual artist?

7. Not if it's in the suburbs.
There's nothing as imaginative as conceptual art in the suburbs. There's only neatly planted flower beds and drive thrus and Home Depots. It's a law. No creativity allowed in the burbs or we'll burn your house down.

9. Sounds like a prime location
for some conceptual art.
