I HATE April Fool's Day!
Seriously, I just shut out all news on April 1st, so nobody can trick me - so, today, if the Pope were to die, I wouldn't believe it until tomorrow, despite any evidence to the contrary.

4. Now days most news stories sound like April Fool's jokes.
That makes it particularly difficult to sort out the jokes from the real stories.
