If it doesn't work, he'll die soon.

I'm not sure which is worse death or dying.

I need a hug.

6. It doesn't even have a name
He's the 31st person in Canada to have it and there were about 30 in the States.

10. For Leukemia
He had it when he was a kid. Now it's back. He's been fighting it for 3 years.

He calls the drug, "Bob."

11. That's a scary thing to deal with.
Edited on Wed Mar-30-05 03:40 PM by Ariana Celeste
I got frightened a couple of times watching a friend inject oxycotin. While it scares me though, I respect my friends' decisions as they respect mine. I'd never call the cops on them for drugs, but I'd surely call the ambulance if something bad happened.

If he's done this sort of thing before, chances are he will be okay.

On edit: I see this is for medical reasons. I'm sorry- I hope for yours and his sake that he is okay. My thoughts are with you two.

13. My dear yvr girl,
Oh God, yvr girl...How awful for you, and for him...Leukemia can be so awful. I sure hope the drug works. But at least you're there for him, and you know that's a BIG help. Dying can be such an isolating experience. You have my complete sympathies, my dear. Your friend is in my prayers.

15. I actually haven't been that good of a friend
He lives in Toronto - it's a bit complicated.

We met on vacation and just connected instantly. We could and did talk about everything.

After the holiday was over, we stayed in touch. The romance potential was there and building, but I wasn't sure about the distance, so I held back. Then he got sick. I was and am so conflicted and riddled with guilt. Then my uncle got cancer and I got to watch death steal someone up close.

I think he's the great love I let slip through my fingers because I was afraid to be hurt and watch him die.

17. My dear yvr girl,
Please don't be so hard on yourself! Regrets and guilt are very damaging, and you don't deserve that at all...All that matters is that you are in touch with him now, and he needs that. Please hang on and see what tomorrow brings. I DO hope that it brings good things to both of you.
