Pearl Street Grill & Brewery
in Buffalo, NY was right around the corner from my hotel when I was visiting the last few days. They offered 6 (alcoholic) brews on tap, one from the Flying Bison microbrewery and the others of their own brewing. I enjoyed them all, especially the English-style IPA and the flavorful oatmeal stout.

The food was great, and the service outstanding. I hope I get back to Buffalo again!

Thanks to billfromwny and baldguy, who recommended the place to me!
:-)

1. man I used to be from Buffalo
and you discovered the one activity that Buffalo definitely has to offer: Getting drunk:) They also have some great, high-fat content food. And sorry to all Buffalonians, no knocks intended, I'm a native WNYer (only 2 years removed).

4. this may be heresy
but I was born and raised a Yankees fan, and I stopped watching after Mattingly retired (the strike helped too). But, I got back into sports after I moved to Boston, and I decided that since I chose to live in Boston that I would take on all their sports teams. And, the Red Sox just seemed to be the natural choice since I grew up a Bills fan (I was 10 and cried like a baby when Scott Norwood missed his field goal:)

2. Sounds nice. Never been there, probably never will, but it's always good
to know that people are out and about and having fun.

5. It's a neat city...
Buffalo's only about 20 minutes from Niagara Falls. It's historically interesting, particularly with regard to the War of 1812. There's some wonderful architecture and a beautiful marina. I'm told they're in the process of restoring an original part of the Erie canal.

Maybe one day you'll want to visit. :-)
