Why do you think Skinner is being so. . .
generous with all those Swedish Fish in ATA. . .?

What is his REAL agenda and motivation for doing so. . .?

Is it because Sweden, like most of the Scandinavian countries, has such a superior quality of life and he's trying to inspire the truth seekers?

Is he tired of babysitting us loons?

Is he masquerading as some sort of messianic Odin or something? Or IS he truly that? Yikes could it be possible?

Or is it, still even more mysterious than that?

Having never eaten a Swedish Fish in my life, it is far beyond my comprehension to empathize.

Please advise.

thanks. But don't the red ones sometimes melt in your hands? I distinctly remember that happening once.

Maybe my hands were on fire or something.

10. Must have
been the stigmata. Or would it be stigmati ???

No wonder I'm prone to projecting messianic fantasies on to lowly Swedish Fish. Sheesh.

13. A Swedish fish is what a gummy aspires to be.
In short, a little bit 'o heaven. It's a texture thing.

18. No
My understanding is that it's Satanic

Actually it's a traditional Norwegian (?) dish, made by marinating codfish in a mild lye solution for an unseemly long period of time. The fish gets weirdly denatured, turns translucent and jelly-like, but keeps for a long time (because, really, once that happens to it, what further *could* happen that we would consider spoilage?). Among the people that (profess to) like the stuff, it's become a kind of macho fraternity hazing ritual: "Think you're man enough to hang out with the rest of us? Well, EAT THIS! HA HA HA!"

For the rest of us, it's the butt of jokes.

I've never had it myself-- never even seen it. (Not my culture.) I've tried a number of difficult and/or laughable foodstuffs in my time-- haggis, jellyfish, thousand year eggs-- but not lutefisk.

So does this mean you have a "Scandahooligan" macho fraternity hazing ritual in your future. . .e-gads.
