I saw that myself in a hardware store recently, spelled like that in bold lettering across the top of the blister-pack. Gave me the same feeling as when I see people write "alot" instead of "a lot."

5. All you need to fix anything is Duct Tape and WD40 oil.

If it moves and shouldn't, you use the Duct Tape.
If it doesn't move and it should, use the WD40.

I got lots of duct tape and WD-40 in my garage and use both quite liberally. My old garden tools are in excellent condition. I give them a good wipedown with WD-40 after each use.

8. It was originally called DUCK tape...

invented around WWII as something to keep things and spots waterproof (ie, like water off a DUCKS back), and the troops called it Duck Tape. Turns out it has very many more uses than that, and after the war it worked miracles for DUCT workers, and it happened to be the same color as air ducts, and they called it DUCT tape.
