major resource management issue developing at my house....

I cut a lime into 8 bits, but then discovered that there's no more than 4 or 5 tequila shots in the bottle.

OK, based on preliminary experimentation, I am certain that there are probably about 4 shots (3 left).

I'm not sure how to proceed. I should probably prepare another experiment. Advice welcomed. God, I love being on spring break....

2. Soak excess slices in tequila
While you use the others for shots. Remove slices, set aside. Do last shot with slice. Suck on tequila-soaked slices as dessert.

That should make for a great time with tequila. Wish I had some right now, although I did have the best Margarita I have ever had last night (and that is saying something)
