It's like Adobe Premiere, by and large.

I wish I could find VirtualDub and some Pinnacle codecs that it could use though... :-(

I'm giving serious thought to dual booting one of my boxes to Linux and see what all the fuss is about.

6. 100% free Linux OS... While SuSE comes at a price,
Fedora is 100% free. Just takes longer to download and install. But SuSE is more convenient, especially with laptops.

I'm also testing its viability for a project to see if replacing Windows would be a good thing to do. Free OS, free updates. None of this copy protection nightmare big brother shit... all free.

7. Be sure to run an update after you install.
It's ANOTHER whoop-ass of packages, so be patient.

I suggest running "yum -y update" and going to bed for the night.
