Why do I hate your music?
Just kidding, music is so subjective, I need to quit being such a music snob while I listen to the Bay City Rollers.

2. Most likely because it sounds like Slayer on liquefy
I'd say as long as it's not something that sounds like The Barenaked Ladies or most modern rap, I'm OK with it.

17. Quite the opposite, actually.
Reign in Blood was the second metal album I ever purchased. I recently saw them with Mastodon. It's just that sometimes I listen to bands that have noise/grind leanings like Pig Destroyer and Berzerker.

Head! Down! Look at the size of his noggin. It's like an orange on a toothpick! It has its own zip code.

I should have been a brain surgeon, I got out the plastic gloves and everything. I am listening to a 1972 Pink Moon. Sounds like listening to a cd.

9. Unfortunately, the "job" doesn't pay anything.
By the way, you can catch me live on the Web until 5:00 a.m. EST if you so desire:

12. Most musical tastes are generational. We all tend to like the music we
grew up with, especially in our childhood, our teens, and our twenties.

By the time we're in our thirties most of us tend to tune out the pop music stations on the radio and listen to our recorded music.

That's why, as one of the Lounge's more elderly participants, I don't recognize most of the music or musicians people here post about.
