I saw the motorcycle diaries last night
I've always wanted to go to Argentina and that movie makes me wanna go even more.

Anyway, cool cool movie. Only Che makes himself look like fucking superman in it. Kinda like Eminem did in 8-mile.

Anyone else seen it.

1. I have it on DVD, it is so good
Did you know that the movie is based on the diaries and letters of Che and Alberto? All of the events in the movie are factual.

I love Che and I love that movie, if you have not seen it, it is worth your time.

It is also surprisingly a pretty good buddy movie, as all the scenes involving the motorcycle are quite funny.

And for the ladies Geal Bernal Garcia is just mouth wateringly hot.

2. I said the movie would do for Argentinian tourism what the LOTR movies
did for New Zealand tourism. ;)

8. As the owner of 2 Che t-shirts I understand that the commercialization
of Che is not something that he would approve of. However since I have read both Marx and some of Guevara's writings, I wear his shirt with pride. It makes me feel good, it makes the rebel in me feel good.

And the movie is top notch, so maybe Che isn't turning over too fast in his unmarked grave.

11. He's not in an unmarked grave anymore.
In 1995, a Bolivian general told biographer Jon Lee Anderson that they'd buried Che near an airstrip--close to where he was killed. In 1997, a team recovered & identified his remains. Later that year, he was reburied in Santa Clara, Cuba.

12. I'm only referring to
the likely Che Guevara Bus Tour that'll be slapped together, with stops at all of Che's favorite places and includes a packed lunch.

A great, true story and what a trip that must have been. It would be something to follow their route.

17. I don't know- I saw it when it first came out
Seemed a little dry to me. Gael is hot stuff, and the other actor is even better, but I found it pretty unmemorable.

Of course, no one who picks up a machine gun is a hero in my book, regardless of his political persective, so I'm not exactly on board to begin with...
