Why is the Sahara Desert a desert?
How do you make a desert? Why is it desert like in some areas but not others?

What causes soil erosion?

the answers to the questions he's asking. I get the impression that when he posts trolling threads like this (for example) it's his way of trying to make conversation.

On edit: He's not the only one that starts threads this way, by any means, though...

You know how we kneejerk, bleeding heart types are- always reaching out a helping hand even if it isn't needed.

Besides, it's easier to post the google link than to go into the other room, skim all my SO's Disney videos to confirm anti-reptile discrimination, etc. And again, being of the Sinister persuasion, after ascertaining that there is indeed an anti-creepycrawly bias at Disney I'd feel compelled to boycott or protest 'em. Or, God forbid, dredge up a Psych Journal article on children being traumatized by TV violence after midnight. That's too much work and I need to focus on upcoming job interviews!

ON EDIT: Reply to your edit- of course not and I've known you long enough to be confident that the observation was a generalization and not meant personally.
