3. I lived in KC for 24 years
and always hated the Chiefs, until now. It's not just a fair weather thing either, it's that they finally have a real coach and good players and they don't play that lame conservative ball any more.

Now I live in Denver and can root for the Broncos and the Chiefs. :)

4. The NY station LEFT THE GAME IN PROGRESS!!
Right before KC's field goal attempt to tie it at the end of the 4th quarter to go to the Jets game!

ARG!!

5. Did you see that?
all I can say is damn. Dante almost made it five games in a row, and even though they held holmes down and were behind most of the game I just had a feeling. Damn.

6. didn't the Chargers start out 5-0 last year
lost all but two of the rest of their... sorry to bring you back down to Earth.

Chiefs need more defense to survive the playoffs.

Have you been paying attention? Our defense IS beefed up from last year. It's not the best, but last year we had the best offense/worst defense and went 8-8. This year we have a moderate defense and fantastic offense.

8. Please lose and pronto
I'm a Dolphin fan who got season tickets for the first time in '72, and am peeved at 3 unbeatens this deep into the season. Like the oldtime Miami players from '72, I can't relax and enjoy the NFL season until the last of the unbeatens is vanquished.

So this year we have 3 pain-in-the-ass survivors in Minnesota, Carolina and Kansas City.

Sounds pathetic, I realize, but several of my old boyhood friends from Miami are already e-mailing me with joint concern, even scrutinizing the schedules of the Chiefs, Vikings and Panthers.

10. Kansas City
Edited on Mon Oct-13-03 02:20 PM by VermontDem2004
still has to play @Minnesota and @Denver. They also have to play Oakland twice and say what you what, Oakland has the talent to defeat the Chiefs. After all they only beat a team that lost to the Cardinals by six points in overtime.

11. Quiet, you fool!
And don't make any comparisons to how the last play yesterday looked so much like Otis Taylor's catch against the Redskins when the Chiefs started off 6-1 back in the day.

If you don't wake them, the dream continues. So shhhhhhhhhhh!
