Great Political Humor on SNL Last Night!
They started with a take-off of Hardball and the best line from Matthews to Ann Coulter was: "I can smell your soul rotting from all the way over here."

Later, Ah-nuld had a perss conference to announce he was resigning because he realizes he's totally unqualified for the job and that his ideas will only make the deficit worse. The audience went wild.

Also, good take-off on the Jessica-Simpson/Nick Lachey show on MTV (Newlweds or something like that). Anyone ever seen that show. It's scary how stupid Jessica is.

1. Haaaaaaaaa! Ha!
I missed the start of Matthews' discussion with Annthrax, but i heard that great line! The Ah-nold press conference was unexpectedly delightful.

I didn't get the Jessica/Nick skit, except that she must have been a child performer and didn't bother to get an education. I don't watch MTV. (I don't watch much cable at all.)

3. You should watch MTV over a friend's just to see Jessica
It truly is frightening--she can't do the basic things--everything has always been done for her. In the skit on SNL they made some reference to her not knowing if Starkist was tuna or chicken because it refers to itself as being "the chicken of the sea."

She really thought that on the real show!

4. How about this line....
Edited on Sun Oct-12-03 09:34 AM by magnolia
Tweety to Annthrax: "I'd call you a media whore but it would be an insult to whores!" I don't think I've ever heard the term "media whore" anywhere but in the internet.

on edit...hate those typos.

5. Great line also!
I think Jon Stewart used the term at the emmy's--it's made it into our national consciousness!

7. Do you mean watch MTV on-line?
Not sure--I bet there is, although I've never tried.

8. Jessica Simspson is worse than Britney
Twice as dumb, twice as Republican, and half as talented - and since Britney doesn't have much, that's saying a lot.

9. I can't even think of what songs Jessica did
Maybe it's because I'm older, but maybe not--I sure know those songs by that talentless Britney.

10. Yeah, SNL was actually funny last night!
Except for that Justin Timberlake twerp, but nobody's perfect.

Let's hope the entire seasons remains as good!

11. I thought Justin was good last night
Everytime I try to dislike him, he does something good.

12. I think it's pleasingly ironic that........
Dennis Miller's alma mater is engaging in throwing his own s**t back in his face. The Daily Show does a good job but it doesn't have the network exposure like SNL has. I love it.

13. I thought Justin as great on the show. I was pleasantly..
surprised by him. Being a grandmother, I haven't been into Justin at all. I didn't know the boy could sang like that. He was also good in the skits.

14. SNL last night
was pretty good. I was surprised at how good Justin Timberlake was. Weekend Update was too short, though. That's my favorite part of the show.

15. I love WU too
I think my favorite last year was when Ian McKellan "queened" Jimmy Fallon. Totally funny.
