4. Neither................
I'll take a Soldano Hi Gain, please.

But, if I had to choose, I'll go with the Boogie. I love Hi-Gain tube amps.

I've had my Mark IV for a couple of years and still haven't completely explored all of its possibilities!

9. Agree!
My Boogie is supposed to be 85 watts but I think it is more like 85,000000000000000000.

It is a dangerous weapon, can shatter windows and split skulls!

7. Uuuuuuh, both?
I have a Fender Princeton Chorus I totally love - 65w, clear as a bell, perfect for in the house or for the odd low-volume gig.

OTOH, though I've never owned one, I once borrowed a Mesa Dual Rectifier (heh heh...) for a recording and a week's worth of gigs, and DAMMIT, I want one.

8. FENDER
I'm a straight Fender man myself. Nothing sounds better for an electric guitar, plugging straight into the amp.

Mesa's alright, though. Much better than Peavey. I have never owned a Peavey amp that did not blow up or burn up. POS guitar amps.

10. Mesa. Fender hasn't made a good amp in over ten years.
Not as good as Mesa anyhow.

11. I'll stick with my Roland JC-120..............
Bought a marshall VS-65. Boy does that amp suck. I just wanted something smaller to lug to gigs but I just couldn't get the sound right and then the board started shitting the bed. Every few months I have to retouch the soldering.
My old lead player likes the Fender Blues Deluxe.

12. Hubby wants a JC more than anything!
Not in our budget -- we will get the Carvin fixed (the Carvin is a real nice amp too, but Roland JC is the amp of choice in this house.

13. I almost bought a Mesa when they first came out,
way back in the 70's. They were all custom-order, direct from the factory back then. I got my order form, filled it all out just way I wanted, then got to the last part where it said the waiting period was. . . . . 39 MONTHS!!!!!

Eh, never mind.
