11. Thanks.
I felt bad about leaving out Crispy Ambulance, but there are only 10 slots, and I had to go with Blue Orchids.

17. Well, Wat,
given the paucity of slots comapred with the number of bands to choose from, I decided not to include any I consider crappy, however well-known.

I'm still smacking my forehead for forgetting the Buzzcocks, though - duh!

18. Tell me about it. Ever hear M People's version of Midnight At The Oasis?
Their biggest hit, sadly. As if the original wasn't bad enough.

23. Never heard it.

I'm not that familiar with their stuff, I can't stand that kind of slicked-up party crap. Plus I didn't even realize they were Mancs! Take That are only in there for comic relief, really - most of the rest of those bands are so depressing!

12. Oh Shit!
Brainfart, nothing more. Sorry, Manc produced so many greats, and I did this off the top of my head.

13. I forgive you, brootha.
But I'd rate the Buzzcocks as more seminal (so to speak) than all but a couple of the rest of the list.

16. Don't worry about it
Seeing one of your music posts is like seeing a green, life-giving area in the midst of a vast desert.

From the list New Order. I love Stone Roses, but two albums (one not really counting) isn't enough.

30. Nu Ordah!
It has to be New Order. Is anyone else going to the Coachella festival to see the Manc lads? Also the Friday before Coachella, they'll be playing in Oakland with the Chemical Brothers.
