Meet the New ZombyMobile
This is a pic from the Nissan website, of my make, model, and color - a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8 S. It is one sweeeeet ride. Nini was with me when I sealed a GREAT deal on Saturday. I am so excited... :bounce: I usually don't get worked up about cars, but this is a keeper.

6. LOL!
Tomorrow! Need milk and garbage bags! :hi:

Yesterday we took our first jaunt out on the open road, to Meteor Crater, AZ. Nini took some pics I will post as soon as she emails them.

I never had cruise control until now... that RULES. :D Also has a trip computer which tells you how many miles of gas you have left, average speed on a trip, average MPG, and temperature, trip odometer, etc... all electronically displayed. Has a NICE CD player too.

Lots of room in the trunk for groceries. ;-)

I am buying myself some Newman-O's! Ever had those? Organic sugar, organic flour, palm oil, and all proceeds to charity! Paul Newman is amazing.

30. Can't go wrong with Nissans!
My first car was a Datsun and I drove it into the ground. It was still running though. My current car is an Infiniti, and it's zipping along at 104,000 miles and 11 years old.

Congratulations. :toast:

.... push-poll style question.

Did you opt for the simple, inexpensive, economical, fuel saving manual transmission, or the expensive, prone to failure, gas guzzling automatic?

Because this my man is the true measure of the wisdom of your purchase!

And BTW - I'm a big Nissan fan, everyone thinks Toyotas and Hondas are the shit but Nissan really is :)

34. 34 mpg is hardly gas-guzzling
I like automatics. Life is too short to be shifting when commuting. I guess it makes the kids who get them feel like racehounds or something, but I don't need a stick. Besides, for what I paid (I learned negotiating for cars from the best), I got a helluva deal. In fact, there was no major price differential for the manuals.

The car meets ultra-low emissions standards, and I will agree with you... Toyotas are overpriced, and Hondas are overrated.

39. Ok...
It's true that the gas mileage between a auto and manual is only 1 mpg on that car.

You young whippernsnappers are too busy with your cell phones and fast food to shift gears anyway :)

My old-lady Saturn just turned over 96K today. But it's paid for!

Guess you'll be driving it down here for the Mariners game?

36. I sacrificed Cactus League
:-( Too much going on in March, with the new play and all, work is heavy, and I need to pinch every penny so I can pay off the new wheels much sooner than the terms call for... plus saving up for a trip to NC to see family in April... and absorb my higher insurance rates because it is new.

I am still hoping for a PHX trip sometime this spring though... I am not happy about passing up the M's or Cubs, but it's one of those tough decisions I will thank myself for later. :-)
