7. My senior year in High School.
Captain of the basketball team, a babe girlfriend, a 1963 red Pontiac Catalina convertible for my ride, and those great tunes blasting out of my radio. Damn, that was a god year!

13. A lot of good songs; bring back memories.
I was 13 then and I had a transistor radio up to my ear day and night.

Well, lookie there: the Nuge made the list! (I really like that song; I think I might even have the 45.) :-)

15. I was 12 in 1968
and the only way to listen to those songs is on a transistor radio.

I was surprised that so much good music came out in just one year. 1968 was crazy, depressing year with Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy being shot and Nixon being elected but at least it had a great sound track.

Thanks for the memories, Night Train.

19. Awesome list of songs
I'm unfamiliar with a handful, but I love almost all the ones that I know.

Definitely one of the all-time greatest years for music.
