2. I'd laugh, but I'm worried I've been one of those people...
Not for the obvious stuff...but some of the connection/cable stuff.

10. It looks like something my dad has done to his computer
That picture and the one with numerous icons to the same thing on the desktop. Poor, poor man.

14. My fiance is working on my day's computer right now.
He has messed it up so much that we think it needs to just be reformatted and start over. He is not going to like that answer, but I will give him a better computer to mess up in the meantime.

What I really love are the emails that make absolutely no sense about the computer problems and then you are supposed to answer them. I read one transcript my dad had with Dell (I believe) and he obviously had no clue what he was talking about and the poor computer guy was trying to be patient. Oh, well, Bless them for their stupidity as my mom says.

15. Hey at least your dad tells you
My dad is notorious for screwing it up and then turning it off and walking away. So then you find it later.

8. I swear I work with these people!
About once a week I get asked to help somebody whose computer has "froze up"

Nine out of ten times I can fix it in less than a minute.

I'm not the IT guy by any means, either. I think they ask me for help because they know I won't laugh at them as much as the IT crew.
