6. On the subway walls and tenament walls:
Edited on Sat Feb-19-05 10:42 PM by Darth_Ole
The words of the prohpets, naturally...

Oh, and there's another reference to subway writing on "A Poem on the Underground Wall" which was a "four letter poem."

8. You've stumped me.
Actually, he's pretty anonymous. Paul just brought in some guy to do it. Garfunkel is actually playing piano on that song.

Also, they say in there that Lenny Bruce died at 42, when I think he died when he was 40.

4. Mousse or hair spray?

I don't mean to make fun of Garfunkel's hair, but he's certainly always had interesting do's. :)

5. Alright, I got one...
I love Simon and Garfunkel, too, but I actually know this more from collecting records than anything...

What is the only song Simon and Garfunkel released only as the B-side of a single and wasn't available on any of their five original albums? (It is now available as a bonus track on a reissue CD of the Bookends album, and is one of my favorite all-time songs by them. Not the second part helps at all. haha)

19. What's the history...
... behind "The Only Living Boy in New York?"

Also just to fiddle around with a speculation I've had for some time... if I said that I thought "The Boxer" was first written as an intended theme song for "Midnight Cowboy," would you think that was unreasonable?

Cheers.
