How does one get invited to a Yahoo group? |
I just got a message inviting me to an existing yahoo group. I only belong to one (DU Panic Room), so I wonder if it was someone from there. Or does Yahoo track where you live and randomly suggest groups they think you'd like? I am confused.

I just sent the owners an e-mail. Maybe they'll let me know. Thanks for the info.

3. Also, you have to register with YahooGroups. |
After you register, you can put in a search for groups you are interested in and join. Usually, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. I must belong to at least 50 groups there, all animal rescue.

4. But I didn't do any of that |
It seems strange that out of the blue, someone decides - Hey, go invite that one. I've only posted in DU panic room once to tell some Freeper to fuck off, so I don't think it was from there. hmm.
