2nd Annual International Rock Paper Scissors Championship
TORONTO (Wireless Flash) -- The eyes of the world may be on California's recall election but the hands will soon be focused on Toronto.

The 2nd Annual International Rock Paper Scissors Championship is set to take place Oct. 25 in Toronto and more than 1000 "ro sham bo" buffs will be competing to see who gets a $7500 grand prize.

Organizer Graham Walker says experienced players use all sorts of mind tricks on their opponents. Last year's winner, Peter Lovering, makes a habit of keeping a cowboy hat over his eyes so he can't see his opponents' faces.

7. There's a flaw in your technique, if you don't mind my pointing it out...
It's pretty hard to win when you telegraph your choice before the game has even begun ;-)

3. And here I thought it was just me
I've always said this was a game of strategy.

And I remain largely undefeated in 2 out of 3 sets, where I get the opportunity to size up my opponent.

"Good old rock...nothin' beats rock."
"Poor Bart, always choosing rock.'

6. ended in tragedy...
that's what my mind added on. Go figure.

I also considered:

Ended in heartbreak...
