This Scotch is strong sheet...
I've been a J&B and Dewars enjoyer (as well as bourban) for a while. Saw a good deal on some Glenmorangie 10yr single malt and picked up a fifth.

Holy crap, this is a whole different world. Very good, but even a half shot and water goes a long way :)

4. I've had Glelevit a few times
But it seem to be a whole different world. More like Glen is the top of the barrel of the mixed Scotches (even though its single), whereas this is the entry into the single malts.

Yay!! I've found more alcohol! I never really liked wine all that much anyway.

Bowmore - Mariner Islay Aged 15 years - single malt Scotch whisky

This is beautiful stuff.

Never mix more that 40% water with the good stuff. If you spin the glass, you should be able to see some really sexy leggs as spirit falls back to glass. The older the whisky the nicer the legs. This is true because the lighter spirits are lost to the angels share as it ages.

5. should have been explicit
I only used a splash of water. From what I know, a little water (neat) is supposed to bring out the flavors...
