I've been lurking around DU for the past year or so, reading more than I've written. Enjoyed myself immensely. Now I'm trying to beef up my Posts, and it a'int easy. This is number 200.

I love DU---particularly the lounge (the lounge is my favorite place on the Internet---a chill place where you can meet people and have fun) :)and the group forums (where you can talk about favorite interests with fellow enthusiasts)
I really can't hang out in GD for too long, as it is too argumentative (some posters are too extreme and some are impolite when debating). I always raise my blood pressure over there

Don't worry about your post count; it's all about the impression you leave.

For example, I'm a blasphemous, cussin' drunk. It doesn't take 1000 posts to figure that out :+

On another note, I've spotted numerous disruptors of the wily kind who've had 1000+ posts...got a keen eye for that sort of thing. I'd expand on this, but I'm getting a bit dizzy...

11. I was actually afraid to post

for quite some time. I was afraid I would be too far this way or that way or that I would use "radical" language and get banned from here real quick like. I have found this to be a great message board when it comes to free speech. Other places will ban you if you use certain language and it kind of puts a damper on the spirit of things when they do that. I figure I'll make friends here and have to apologize every now and again when I get carried away. I love the people on DU so far.
