Movie lines/dialogue that made you think, or feel..something
What lines of dialogue in a movie that has really stood out to you in any way. I'm not talking about the usually obvious famous movie quotes such as "Leave the gun. Take the cannoli." Oh, the dialogue can have famous quotes like that within it, but I'm talking about lines of dialogue that made you think, or feel sad, or happy, or just plain introspective, or just downright funny.

Some sort of dialogue that has stood out to you for one reason or another, long before anyone else told you something along the lines of: "Hey, that is a good dialogue".

Examples:

From the movie One Hour Photo:

"I'm sure my customers never think about it, but these snapshots are their little stands against the flow of time. The shutter is clicked, the flash goes off, and they've stopped time, if just for the blink of an eye. And if these pictures have anything important to say to future generations, it's this: "I was here. I existed. I was young. I was happy and someone cared enough about me in this world to take my picture." -Sy Parrish played by Robin Williams

From Amadeus:

Salieri: All I ever wanted was to sing to God. He gave me that longing... and then made me mute. Why? Tell me that? If he didn't want me to praise him with music, why implant the desire? Like a lust in my body? And then deny me the talent?

Salieri: Astounding! It was actually beyond belief. These were first and only drafts of music yet they showed no corrections of any kind. Not one. He'd simply put down music already finished in his head. Page after page of it, as if he was just taking dictation. And music finished as no music has ever finished. Displace one note and there would be diminishment. Displace one phrase, and the structure would fall. It was clear to me. That sound I had heard in the Archbishop's palace had been no accident. Here again was the very voice of God! I was staring through the cage of those meticulous ink-strokes, at an absolute beauty.

3. Suburbia
Not the more recent movie, but the punk rock one. I don't remember the exact line, but basically the guy says, we are the rejected. Rejected really struck a chord with me. It has always meant a lot to me that others may feel that way.

4. Terms of Endearment..."Tommy, I know you want me to think you hate
me, but I know you love me. Remember that when I'm gone. I know you love me.

Debra Winger said something close to this when she was dying of cancer and he was acting hateful to her.

That and when she says to them,"I'm sorry about all this"...

5. Practically every word of dialogue in "Network"
Some of the best, most brilliant dialogue ever put on paper is in that visionary masterpiece. Paddy Chayefsky created a work of art.

6. Marion's Monologue In "Wings of Desire"
I don't have the full text, but it knocked me off my chair.

"I don't know if destiny exists, but decision exists. Decide. You're holding the game in your hands... Now or never."
