Ever have a movie spoiler make you want to see it more?

I'm that way with Million Dollar Baby. I had no desire to see it until I heard the big plot spoiler. I obviously won't repeat it, but needless to say hearing about it lent a depth to the movie that I didn't think it had. Now I really do want to check it out.

Ever have this happen.

1. I'm not sure about that one anymore.

I wanted to go see a good boxing movie. Maybe something that dealt with the issue of women in boxing. I don't know if I want to see it now if it's all about some big social contraversy. Sounds kind of like "Cider House Rules."

2. I had no interest in a boxing movie...

...but am always interested in movies that generate social controversy.
