Watching a city block burn down at this moment
The fire started around seven this morning in an apartment, it got into the attic and spread throughout the city block. TV crews are on the scene and are broadcasting live pictures. Smoke and flames are rolling out the windows. Firefighters are entering one of the basements of one building. No injuries to report so far.

6. Dover, Ohio
We were in the national news last week because of the floods which cut off whole communities for eight days. The emergency crews in this area have not had any rest lately.

4. Here's the radio story
The story makes is sound like the fire is over, but it is still being fought.

Fire has destroyed an entire city block in downtown Dover. The blaze was reported early this morning in the apartments above Colby and Co. bar on Tuscarawas Avenue. The fire spread down to the bar, as well as through the Army Navy club, the Eagles club, a billiards store, the Dover City engineer’s private offices, and two more taverns connected in the back. At one point, huge flames were shooting from the roof as the entire block was on fire. Twelve fire departments were called as flames continued to burn after more than four hours. Seven people living in the apartments got out safely wearing nothing but their pajamas. One resident, John Incarnato, whose family has owned his building for 50 years, had to be rescued with his girlfriend from their balcony. He then ran around to the back of the building and woke his mother, Lavella Incarnato, by kicking in her door. Army Navy Club canteen manager Larry Kopp says he had just arrived for work when the fire broke out and he saw smoke coming downstairs.
