Help with Firefox.
I switched to Firefox and I love it. But for some reason, I am sometimes unable to log into DU with it.

I clean the cache, I empty the history, I allow cookies but no matter how many times I try I can't log in.

Other websites that I visit don't have this problem, on DU. Since most of my time on the internet is spent on DU, that means I have to stick with the IE Explorer. (Yuck.)

Does anyone have a solution? Has this happened to any other Firefox user?

BTW: Except for this one problem, Firefox is superior to IE Explorer in every way.

1. Never had that problem.
Once you get it figured out get rid of the IE. I have never, ever wanted to go back. Sorry, I wish I could help but you will most likely get a bunch of folks answering who will be able to help you. Check the DU groups, there is one there for computers and maybe there is an answer there.

5. I did that yesterday and that worked.
Today it doesn't.

About 10 minutes ago I cleared the cache (again) and now I'm able to log back in again.

I love Firefox so much, it makes everything so much easier... but I wonder why this happens?

11. have you tried uninstalling, then reinstalling FF?
That's worked for me. did you install directly from the site, or did you download the installer, then open it from your desktop or whatever file it went to? I was told to always download the installer (to the desktop is easiest). All your settings will be recalled. At least they have been for me.
I had the same issue about signing on to DU. I found I was allowing cookies for a session. Just plain 'Allow'.
Check your 'Exception' cookies and make sure DU is allowed. If it is not, you can remove it from the cookie list and copy and paste the URL for DU in the space they give you for that and click 'Allow'

Good luck.

9. It may very well be
that you can't 'import' your favourites from Netscape. I just checked under "FILE" then "IMPORT" and there is only an option for IE.
I wonder if you took your fav folder from Netscape and copied into the Firefox program if you could do it that way.

15. You should.
Pop-ups gone.
Gifs look better.
Pages load faster.
It's not a Microsoft product.
Mouse Gestures rule!
Tab-based browsing rocks.

I've experimented with Mozilla, Opera and Netscape. Every time I've had to go back to IE. But now FF ended me having to see that damn blue E ever again.
