Poll question: Favorite AC/DC song?
Mine changes, or rotates, but at the moment I am re-infatuated with "Whole Lotta Rosie"

There are sooo many good ones, I'm having a hard time using the #10 spot for "other," but I did.

So, have a drink on me, and then vote for your fave ACDC number.

;-)

1. "Who made Who"
I don't know what the hell he's saying in that song but I dig it. That was one of the first hard rock tunes that I ever liked. I guess I was around 14 when I first heard it.

4. It was aslo part of the soundrtack to King's "Maximum Overdrive"
you know, where the machines turned against the people - it was an appropriate song. Not sure if it was written specifically for that flick, there was an AC/DC "Who Made Who" album as well.

But yeah, that song rocks. And I don't know all of what the hell he's saying in it either.

6. Roll On.
Edited on Fri Oct-03-03 09:40 PM by Ohio Dem
I doubt it would win any polls, and I don't blame you for not mentioning it, but it's my favorite.

And, as somebody else mentioned, "You Shook Me All Night Long" is not on the poll. While that's not my personal favorite, I can't see a poll without this song.

On edit: I meant "Ride On." I don't know what I was thinking. I would have changed the actual subject line, but a couple of the posts that follow then wouldn't make any sense.

10. Can't believe I forgot "BIG BALLS"
How did I forget this one?

Big Balls

I'm upper, upper class high society
God's gift to ballroom notoriety
And I always fill my ballroom
The event is never small
All the social papers say I've got the biggest balls of all

CHORUS
I've got big balls
I've got big balls
And they're such big balls
Dirty big balls
And he's got big balls,
And she's got big balls,
But we've got the biggest balls of them all!

And my balls are always bouncing
My ballroom always full
And everybody comes and comes again
If your name is on the guest list
No one can take you higher
Everybody says I've got great balls of fire!

CHORUS

Some balls are held for charity
And some for fancy dress
But when they're held for pleasure,
They're the balls that I like best.
And my balls are always bouncing,
To the left and to the right.
It's my belief that my big balls should be held every night.

CHORUS

11. "Highway to Hell"
When Marie and I were going through the wedding practice at St. Leo's, I bribed the organist to play a few bars of the song. Marie turned WHITE when she looked at her parents, who were more pale than her. Fortunately the Priest wasn't at the practice

Ironically, I'm on it right now :-(

24. good gawd folks...how can you forget "Night Prowler"?
the song richard ramierez found inspiration in.....my personal fav anyhow, and there are a lot of AC/DC songs i hold near and dear....probably the creepiest song ever written...love the old mork from ork ditty at the end....

Somewhere a clock strikes midnight
And there's a full moon in the sky
You hear a dog bark in the distance
You hear someone's baby cry

A rat runs down the alley
And a chill runs down your spine
and Someone walks across your grave
And you wish the sun would shine

'cause No one's gonna warn you
And no one's gonna yell "Attack"
And you don't feel the steel Till it's hanging out your back

I'm your Night Prowler
asleep in the day
I'm your Night Prowler
get out of my way
Look out for the Night Prowler
watch you tonight
I'm the Night Prowler
when you turn out the light ...

Too scared to turn your light out
'cause there's something on your mind
Was that a noise outside your window?
What's that shadow on the blind?
As you lie there naked Like a body in a tomb
Suspended animation
As I slip into your room

I'm your Night Prowler
asleep in the day
I'm your Night Prowler
get out of my way
I'm your Night Prowler
break down your door
I'm your Night Prowler
crawling 'cross your floor
I'm your Night Prowler
make a mess of you
yes I will
Night Prowler..and I am telling this to you...
There ain't nothing...there aint nothing...there aint nothing...
nooooo...nothing you can do

(Shazbot...Nanu Nanu)
