Anytime somebody goes away, I miss them. Of course, I'm usually so oblivious, I probably wouldn't notice for 4-5 weeks... just ask Chavez.

Have a safe flight to India & back and a good trip. I don't envy your flights, but having gone to China with an 18 month old a few months back, it's not too bad - do you have to stop anywhere after leaving the US before you get to India?

Our flight was from Hartford to Cincy to LA to Shanghai to Beijing... the flight was supposed to be LA to Beijing, but China Eastern changed the flight to have a stopover in Shanghai. Needless to say, we won't be flying China Eastern again.

On the way home, Shanghai to Haerbin (a large city in Northeastern China that nobody has ever heard of, despite it being home to like 9 million people...) to LA to Atlanta to Hartford.

Will you have any internet access while there? Every hotel we stayed at in China had high speed internet access.
