Report: Courtney Love hospitalized for possible overdose

NEW YORK (Reuters) -- Musician and singer Courtney Love was hospitalized for a possible drug overdose following her arrest after allegedly breaking windows at a friend's house, the Los Angeles Times reported Friday, citing police.

Love was booked for allegedly being under the influence of a controlled substance after police found her outside a Wilshire-area home, where she said she had broken four windows while trying to enter, said the Times.

The founder of the band Hole was released after being booked, the daily said.

Less than an hour later, Love was found at a private residence, following a call for help to Beverly Hills police and medics

13. the private investigator who looked into kurt's death
It did not seem reasonable to Mr. Grant that Kurt Cobain should ingest triple the amount of heroin ever consumed by a human being without losing consciousness within a few seconds and still have time to pick up a gun and blow his own brains out.

At one time he had all sorts of smoking-gun type police reports, toxicology, etc. online during the early days of the internet. Don't know if the reports are still available.

Since Love is a professional drama queen/sociopath who had previously offered a man $50,000 to kill her husband (or so the putative hired killer testified), Grant came to believe that Love was complicit in Cobain's death.

I read his reports and I personally believe that Cobain ODed and that his friend panicked and then turned the gun on him, to make it look like suicide rather than accident. Apparently, it may happen out west that friend/dealers are occasionally prosecuted when they sell or give someone enough drugs to cause them to overdose, especially if they are present during the overdose. The person believed to be present wasn't Courtney, but a friend or perhaps lover of hers, and I am not going to name names, because he has not been prosecuted for anything, and perhaps he is innocent after all. The whole Rush experience has really opened my eyes to the huge quantities of opiates that it is possible for an addict to take without losing consciousness.

a sad event, however it happened

3. Lets hope...
She remembers the old saying "If at first you don't succeed, try, try again" After all, she is enough of an idiot that its not suprising that she didn't get it right the first time. Keep trying, Courtney!!! You can do it!!!!

6. Courteney is a b*tch
Money-grabbing, sick woman. I saw a documentary on Kurt once which went a long way in indicating that she got him killed, but I suppose that's old news. Bloody woman.

Courtney is a difficult person, but Nick Broomfield is scum who will lie to make a buck. What was just as disgusting about that film were the nobody hangers-on who sorta "knew Kurt when" and couldn't wait to put themselves on camera.

Just because someone is not particularly likeable does not make that person more likely to murder.

Even the ex-Nirvana guys thought the film was disgusting.

I don't understand the mentality of people who are all too willing to assume the worst about someone they don't even know, without bothering to check the facts. It truly is a witch-hunting mentality.

People who express so much hatred toward someone they don't know truly need to get a life.

11. Courtney, Yoko--cherchez la femme
When something bad happens to a popular musical act, some folks look for the nearest 'bitch' to pin it on. It's misogyny, pure and simple.

Yoko is a creator and originator in her own right. She was an artist before Lennon and after Lennon. She is a positive, sincere woman and proof that a woman can be passionate without being a psycho or a slut.

Courtney is a thief of other's material and a drama queen. It has nothing to do with misogyny. There is something wrong with her. We certainly wouldn't sympathize with a man acting like a jerk and terrorizing flight attendants (after 9-11, this happened quite recently!) or, in this latest stunt, trying to break into someone's house by shattering the windows. Ugh.

I am not convinced that sociopaths can be cured, but she needs to get some kind of counselor or trainer to at least teach her the rudiments of behaving like a decent human being.

Just my humble opinion.

she needs to grow up
