I've got it worse - I'm a Pirates fan.

I do hate the Yankees, tho. IMO your joke would be funnier if the reader wasn't distracted by the misspelling.

That was from the golden age of Conan O'Brien, before the writers caught the SNL disease and became obsessed with coming up with "realistic" sounding names for their characters.
