I barely know this guy but he was willing to pick me up in Wilmington so I could attend the event (He's from outside NYC and was also stoping in central jersey for another person). This guy is an amazing person, great personality and just all around super dude who I can't say enough amazing stuff about him!

My ride fell through for DC and I was a lil scared of traveling there myself. My choices were going up to Philly and pay for the HRC bus to DC ($25 for bus and $25 to park my car in a bus station near 30th Street Station) or taking a chance on someone who barely has 50 posts here in DU. Talk about making a great choice (although I'm sure the HRC bus would have been a blast). He turned out to be a wonderful companion and the 3rd person in our road trip was another amazing guy as well. Along the way we met 2 more progressive types while waiting in line amongst a sea of dead fur, cowboy hats and just really bad Wal-Mart outfitting. Even after the event was overwith we met a 5th person who started talking to us because I was wearing an Eagles sweatshirt. Seems he actually was on the HRC bus but he was late getting back to it and missed the ride. artv28 was nice enough to take an extra passinger home with us because we're not leaving any liberals stranded in DC. The only downside is we really did't get to meet up with any other DUers and especially WillPitt (Do you know in Washington DC not only are there two 7th & D street intersections but each of them have a kinkos!).

Finally and even more grateful - when we got back to Delaware, my car was locked in at a Harley-Davidson dealership/restaurant. artv28 came to my rescued and made sure that I got back home to my apartment.

Amazing guy, let's hope we see more of him around here on the boards!!!
