does anyone get xm, or some other sattelite radio ? is it worth it ? it's actually pretty cheap with just about 10 dollars a month, but i would like some opinions from others who may have it.

1. I have a friend who just had it installed in his...
car and loves it. There are channels that have no commercials and just play song after song with no interruptions. He thinks it's great.

Just my $.02.

2. I love my XM
I can listen to the BBC whenever I want....
C-span radio is very cool...
And the Comedy channel is great to keep me awake on long drives...

Never listen to regular FM in the car any more!

3. I don't get XM but I get Sirius
and love it. I have the home system since I don't have a car. I primarily got it because I thought it would work at work but I sit in a cube too far from a window (and trust me I stretched that satellite thingy as far as I could).

I got Sirius because they have Sirius Left radio (channel 145) and Jam Central (channel 17).

4. you can get it in a rental car at many major airports
If you travel look for it and check it out. I really liked it the three days in Chicago I had it.

there was a great alternative channel. Good Jazz and really something for everyone. I would reccomend it.
