1. This whole week is a cluster fuck in D.C.
Edited on Tue Jan-18-05 08:35 AM by demnan
I have to take Thursday off, I don't get the holiday and this morning my van pool driver informed me they are leaving early tomorrow. It's a wonder anything gets done around here.

I hate using what little leave I have for this cluster fuck!

9. Well I've decided to go see Al Franken's first DC show
during the inaugural. Also I'll take in some counter-protests if I get a chance, weather permitting the 30 mile drive.

2. I had to work yesterday, fuckface.
Publication deadlines wait for no man's holiday. Thanks for lording your sweet, sweet day off over me and everyone else. Bitch-hog.

4. To be fair, I worked a lot harder at home yesterday...
...than I would have in the office.

Cleaning up the bedroom when there's piles of clothes all over the floor (half of which were still in suitcases, but not in any reasonable fashion); running around to the old house, yet still forgetting to take the trash around; making soup.

Here I just fuck off all day. You know, when I'm able.

8. I am duly chastened.
I am sorry, working class hero, that I called you a bitch-hog. I had a rotten day at work yesterday, which certainly was in no way your fault. May this week bring you multiple fuck-off days, and many bottles of the good stuff.

For the record, you're still a fuckface.

7. Me too
But everybody else around took the day off. So the water purifier machine that's supposed to serve the coffee maker wasn't working, and nobody came around to install a new roll of paper towels in the men's room, and the good restaurants were all closed for lunch.

The city has outlived its usefulness.
