Has anyone ever heard of too many opinions?

It seems to me that to keep track of ones own posts, they would need 8 eyes on 4 computer monitors, and 4 pairs of hands on 4 keyboards. Geez, I think some of those senior posters have to be space aliens.

I know becoming a donor helps a bit with some of the extra features. What is the minimum contribution needed to get the nifty star next to my name (I would gladly pay $5 for those awsome features)?

As for the boards, is there a more relaxed board within DU? Because Politics and the Latest Breaking News are much too hectic for my taste. Very fun to lurk, but the posts get lost in the shuffle.

and yes, you can give $5 and get a star. Just mark "other" and put how much you want to give.

You might find, though, that this place is worth way more than that. Just sayin'.

You could always go to the Meeting Room, things are not quite as fast paced down there...:)

There are also a myriad of sub Forums that might interest you. In any case, glad to have you aboard...lurk, enjoy, get involved....:D

6. You can go to my posts up on the top of forums pages

and click on that and it shows your posts and the threads you posted to for the last 48 hours.

When I do it I click on 'refresh' to make sure its up- to -date.

If you go down the list of forums, you can also find non-political forums and group forums that may appeal to you.
