Fare thee well, fellow DUers, for I am off
to distant and cold lands in the morning. I shall return in the not too distant future, bearing gifts of Faygo Rock & Rye, the best flavor of pop on the planet.

We are heading to Detroit, the only known place (known to me, anyway) where they sell Faygo Rock & Rye. Unfortunately it will be too cold to leave one for my grandparents at their graves, but at least I will get to bring a case home.

2. You can order on the web
and have it delivered to your house. :toast:

5. I saw this when I went
to the Faygo website. I may have to order some.

Ordering is one thing, but if I order it, I can't leave a can at the cemetary. Rock & Rye was my grandmother's absolute favorite drink. She always had tons of it at the ready when we would visit. Occassionally we would sneak into the living room at night to see her playing cards with the family, holding a cigarette, stick of salami, and her cards, with a glass of Rock & Rye at her right.

Almost brings a tear to my eye lol.

6. Fair enough
no cans, only plastic bottles. Just trying to be a good DU'er and help out a fellow DU'er. :hi:

I can relate though. I remember my parents and other relatives playing cards when I was little. They'd sit around the table when they thought all of us kids were asleep. Our family was partial to RC cola (with peanuts floating at the top - I think its a southern thing). I haven't seen RC cola in a while but when I do I think about those times.

Have a good trip.
